Abstract. In this article the monitoring optimization issue of patients with chronic heart failure is considered. As such optimization we proposed to develop evaluation system, that will help patients obtain opinion of their health without the participation of doctors, and for doctors will give a recommendation tool to help in patient’s treatment.
In the proposed system, the conclusion about patient health under a separate criterion of telemonitoring data is evaluated from 0 to 10. 3 evaluation criteria are defined: WEIGHT, PULSE, BLOOD PRESSURE. In the evaluation by criterion PULSE there are 3 parameters: the maximum and the average of patient heart rate per week, the patient’s concomitant diseases (arrhythmia, a problem in the lungs); in the evaluation by criterion WEIGHT — 2 parameters: body mass index (BMI) and weight gain per week; in the evaluation by criterion BLOOD PRESSURE — 4 parameters: systolic and diastolic blood pressure, age and comorbidities (diabetes, kidney failure, the presence of the previously heavy hospitalizations due to heart problems).
Further, the article demonstrates the evaluation forms for each of the criteria that have been filled by cardiologists. Data from these forms became the basis of expert evaluations database. Since this database was compiled only for certain cases, it was proposed interpolate the received data on particular cases. For criteria WEIGHT and PULSE used bicubic interpolation, for criterion BLOOD PRESSURE — trilinear interpolation. At the end of the interpolation ready-made set of scales was obtained to evaluate patient health based to three criteria. To demonstrate the possibility of evaluations system of patient health questionnaire was prepared that the patient can fill out and get to know about their health condition.
The results disclose a potential of automated medical assessment based on expert evaluations database. In conclusion, the article proposed the expansion of criteria list and the use of final system in a remote patient monitoring platform.
Key words: expert system, evaluations scale, telemonitoring, interpolation, chronic heart failure.
