Abstract. The paper discusses the relationship of temperature data obtained by RTM diagnostics of the breast of patients with their age characteristics, body type, and breast diameter. Publications on the diagnosis of breast cancer of a medical nature note the fact of a decrease in temperature measured at various points of the breast in healthy patients with increasing age of the patient. The main objective of this paper was to statistically confirm or deny this fact. The data of more than 2700 patients from different age groups from 15 years and older. Patients had different physique from raw-boned to corpulent. In the course of the study, a hypothesis about a decrease in temperature at the points of the breast in the age group over 40 was confirmed, which is especially pronounced for corpulent patients. On the other hand, this hypothesis has not been performed for underweight patients. The temperature in such patients at some points increased on average in the age group over 40 years. Thus, it was established that the temperature background of the breast is influenced not only by age factors, but also by body type.
Key words: breast diseases, RTM diagnostics, distribution of temperature data, nonparametric criteria, homogeneous samples, Mann — Whitney criterion, Kraskell — Wallis criterion.
